Ciudad Quesada is a municipality of Rojales in the Province of Alicante, Spain.
Ciudad Quesada was developed in the early 1970’s when a Spanish entrepreneur called Justo Quesada Samper decided to build his own town. The urbanisation grew and finally it was accepted as a real Spanish town.
Ciudad Quesada is a popular place where many people of different nationalities live all year round. Ciudad Quesada is around 10 minutes from the coast so it may not be your first choice for a place to stay for a beach holiday but due to its many shops, bars and restaurants still makes a great place to holiday and with it’s climate recognised by the World Health organisation as one of the most environmentally perfect climates in the world makes it an ideal place to live.

If playing golf isn’t your thing the peaceful area surrounding La Marquesa makes a lovely place to sit an relax with a drink or bite to eat in one of the many bars and restaurants overlooking the golf course.

Cuevas del Rodeo
The are a traditional complex of houses dug out of rock during the 18th and 20th Centuries. The technique used entailed digging the slopes in pieces
of 2.5 - 5 meters high to allow the creation of different rooms. The dug out land was used to form a platform outside the cave which was used to plant vegetable gardens and helped the precarious family economy The renovation of the caves has resulted in the establishment of a large Municipal Underground Ecomuseum made up of 15 cave houses that nowadays have become handicraft workshops and exhibition halls and a Crafts Market, both located in the renovated caves owned by the Rojales Town Council.
